Hidden Wedge Sneakers Update (Isabel Marant Dupe)

Isabel Marant Sneakers seem to be mighty popular now days. They are basically trendy sneakers that have a hidden wedge. I have a similar pair from Aldo that I posted about before, but those were from many seasons ago. So yesterday when I stopped by the store I saw these! They are not cheap ($100) but perhaps one day they will be on sale and if you really craving the IM Sneaker (they ranger from $600-900) these are a good alternative. They also come in a few more colors.

Affordable Holy Grail Beauty Items

Apologizes everyone! Sorry I have been away for so long. I just got back from my one month trip to China not too long ago and once I get my act together I will be doing my first real haul!

But for right now I would like to share some of my current beauty favorites that are my holy grail must haves. These are my affordable holy grail items. I might or might not do a separate more expensive holy grail beauty products post, but I mean this blog is about finding cheap items, so I'll have to think about it. 

In general I feel very strongly that expensive eye shadows and lip products are completely not necessary. Eyeliners, face powders, blushes, toners/mists can be hit or miss with drugstore/cheap products. But in general save your money for skincare products, foundations and concealers. 

1. Boot's Nectarine Body Butter - Target $9.99

Smells so good but not overpowering. Thick and moisturizing but also absorbs very fast. If I ever buy body butter, this is it! Go to your Target and smell it!

2. Boots Botanics Organic Rosewater Toner - Drugstore.com $8.39 (Target in store, a little more expensive)

I put this in a mini spray bottle and use it after I shower, after i put on makeup, during the summer to freshen up, during the winter when there is too much dryness due to the heater, basically anytime. This is probably the one product I cannot live without. I like this better than the Jurlique rosewater because of the softer scent. I found the Jurlique scent to be too strong. Plus its wayyy cheaper and its more product. 

3. Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Makeup Remover - Drugstore.com $6.29 (Target in store, a little more expensive)

There is no need to buy expensive makeup removers. This is my favorite eye makeup remover because its cheap, natural and works just very well as department store removers. I also like the Sonia Kashuk one, but its a little more expensive, so I prefer this one. 

4. Wet n' Wild - Walking on Eggshells Trio - $3 or under at almost any drugstore. 

This is my favorite eye shadow set of all time. I love it much better than many high end products. I really do not need anything else when I travel. I love the colors, the pigmentation and the texture. EVERYTHING! I actually do not use the brown as a crease color, but just on top of my eyeliner. Everything else I use as directed. 

5. L'Oreal True Match Powder - Under $10 at most drugstores (Walmart is the cheapest)

This is my favorite powder. It is soft and easy to blend, there are tons of colors to select from, it has coverage and I actually love the sponge that comes with it. I wear it along and on top of foundation.

Lip Gloss and Neon Jeans

I recently purchased some lip glosses from VS. I believe it was buy 2 for $15 in stores for a special promotion and its $12 a piece online. I bought it in the color GLOW and INNOCENT. They both have a little shimmer in it, which is a little out of my comfort zone, but they are very fine, so it just looks like a nice shine on the lips instead of a disco ball glitter mess. GLOW is a lovely nude color and INNOCENT is a baby pink color. I did not see INNOCENT online though, perhaps its named just PINK? The picture below is obviously not the colors I purchased but just to show what the packaging looks it.

Target Jeans

I also recently purchased cropped jeans from Target for $22.99. I bought the neon pink color and the white color. What I like about these jeans is that they look like pants, if that makes any sense. Also because they are thick enough and just the right amount of a loose fit to make them look classy. The neon pink is a true neon! And the white is a pretty true white without being too flashy. The sizing is a bit odd though. I went a size up but they do stretch out a lot when you wear them and return to the original size after washing and drying. I think it was the right decision in the end to go up a size, I wanted them to look classy and not like I am a hipster teenager. I just wear a belt with it. You can dress them up with a nice flat, wedges, heels or dress them down with converses, flip flops etc.
